Intro. How we Need to Pray-
I. We Need to Pray Sincerely-
• Jeremiah 29:12-13 Then shall
ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I
will hearken
unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall
search for me with all your
heart.
• Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with
a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed
with pure water.
II. We Need to Pray Spiritually-
• Ephesians 6:18 Praying always
with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching
thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all
saints;
• Jude vs: 20 But ye, beloved,
building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in
the Holy
Ghost,
III. We Need to Pray Scripturally-
• James 1:6 But let him ask in
faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave
of the sea driven with the
wind and tossed.
• Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh
by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

I. Pray for the Forgiveness of Sin- 1 John
1:5-10
a) Pray for Sinners to Salvation-
b) Pray for Saints to Service-
II. Pray for Fellow Laborers- Matt 9:36-38, Luke 10:1-3
III. Pray that you Fall Not into Temptation- Matt:26-36-41
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation
taken you but such as is common to man: but
God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation also make a
way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
IV. Pray for those Who Fight Against you- Matt 5:43-48
1 Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled,
reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened
not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
V. Pray for our Flight out of Here!- Rev. 22:16-21
2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid
up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord,
the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto
all them also that love his appearing.
1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide
in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have
confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
